Job overview

We are seeking a motivated individual passionate about Mental Health to lead the Early Intervention Team covering South County and City areas of Derbyshire. The role involves providing compassionate leadership, driving quality standards, and operational management to support a multidisciplinary team.

The team includes Nurses, OTs, Support Workers, Psychology, Medical colleagues, and Administrators.

The Service Manager will oversee daily team functions, ensure safe and effective care within the early intervention model, and support the team’s development. Regular supervision, peer support, and training are provided.

Main duties of the job
  • Support and manage the team daily.
  • Deliver management supervision.
  • Conduct appraisals and develop personal development plans.
  • Manage team performance.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical Lead to ensure best practice.
  • Support team well-being.
  • Implement changes and participate in quality improvement projects.
  • Handle employee relations issues such as sickness and performance.
  • Work with local partners to deliver place-based care.
