Service Care Solutionsis currently recruiting experiencedMental Health Practitioners / Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPNs)for a full-time agency contract within theEarly Intervention in Psychosis Servicebased inDerby.
Contract Details:
  • Location:Derby (Community-based role)
  • Hours:Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Pay Rates:
    • £27.00 per hour (Umbrella)
    • £21.71 per hour (PAYE, inclusive)
Role Overview:This role is based within theEarly Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) Service, supporting individuals aged 14–64 who are experiencing or are at risk of experiencing a first episode of psychosis. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, recovery-focused care.
You will be responsible for managing a defined caseload, conducting comprehensive assessments, and delivering a range of psychosocial interventions. The role also involves working closely with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with first episode psychosis (FEP)
  • Conduct extended mental health assessments and risk evaluations
  • Develop and implement care plans, safety plans, and recovery-focused interventions
  • Deliver psycho-social interventions including CBT-informed practice, family work, and carer education
  • Participate in weekly MDT meetings and contribute to collaborative care planning
  • Liaise with GPs, social care, education, and voluntary sector partners
  • Support service users in accessing education, employment, and social opportunities
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
  • Safeguard adults and children in line with local and national protocols
