Job Overview

Are you a Mental Health Practitioner (RMN/OT or Social Worker) looking for a new opportunity to work in an organisation that will help you develop and achieve your goals? Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has an opening in our Crisis Resolution/Home Treatment team in South West Staffordshire, based at Haywood Lodge, Stafford.

Our team works with individuals experiencing mental health crises, those requiring additional support alongside their regular network, or those who can receive hospital-equivalent treatment at home. We operate 24/7 as part of the Urgent Care Pathway.

Main Duties
  • Assess mental health crises and support safe, effective home treatment aligned with wellbeing and recovery plans.
  • Participate in delivering the service's aims and identify barriers to success.
  • Assist in providing high-standard nursing care to referred service users.
  • Implement systems to monitor care effectiveness.
  • Participate in the education and supervision of junior staff.

Role Details

This position involves working across adult community mental health pathways, with responsibilities including care coordination, consultation, support, and supervision. The role requires working on a roster that includes weekends and nights, with suitable transport to cover geographical areas.

Qualifications
  • Registered mental health Nurse or Allied Health Professional on NMC or HCPC Register
  • Post-registration experience with relevant training at diploma/degree level
Experience
  • Extensive post-registration experience working with adults with mental health difficulties
  • Experience in integrated care delivery across multidisciplinary/multi-agency teams
  • Ability to carry out clinical audits
Desirable
  • Leadership qualification
