Job Description:

As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing mental health support, producing assessments, and implementing outcome-based interventions to meet patients' needs. The successful candidate will promote psychosocial wellbeing by identifying and supporting appropriate service pathways for service users and their careers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Caring for patients with acute conditions
  • Building relationships and responding to individuals' physical and emotional needs
  • Administering medications and treatments, and monitoring results
  • De-escalating stressful situations and helping patients overcome challenges related to mental illness
  • Communicating with patients' families and care staff, providing advice and information on conditions
  • Preparing and maintaining patient records, care plans, and risk assessments
Requirements:
  • Current and active NMC Registration
  • Minimum of 1+ years in a similar role
  • Enhanced DBS - on the update service (fast track options available)
