Length of assignment: 3 Months

Hourly rate: £37

Remote/Office based: Hybrid—all therapeutic appointments will be face to face

Location: Walsall Council

The Role:

We are looking to recruit therapists to work within our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.

You will be responsible for delivering psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers within Walsall, both on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with adults with significant and complex needs, focusing on engaging with parents regarding their mental health and well-being while coordinating with the wider social care system involved with the family.
  • Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and time-limited evidence-based interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
  • Identify the most appropriate mental health/psychological interventions for individuals to develop tailored interventions for parents based on their mental health needs, informed by professional knowledge and practice skills related to therapeutic models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

We seek candidates with relevant experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialisms, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Driving is essential for this role.
