Job description

Length of assignment: 3 Months

Hourly rate: £37

Remote/Office based: Hybrid — all therapeutic appointments will be be face-to-face

Location: Walsall Council

The Role:

We are seeking therapists to join our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.

You will deliver psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers in Walsall, both one-on-one and in group settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with adults with complex needs, focusing on engaging parents regarding their mental health and well-being, while coordinating with the wider social care system.
• Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
• Determine appropriate mental health interventions for individuals, creating tailored interventions for parents based on their mental health needs, informed by models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Applicants should have relevant experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialisms, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Driving is essential for this role.
