Job summary

Derbyshire Constabulary is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner to provide occupationally focused mental health assessments, case management and short-term interventions. You will support wellbeing strategies to maintain a healthy and resilient workforce across our organisation.

This is more than a clinical role; it aims to create meaningful change for those who serve our communities, helping build a workplace where everyone can thrive. The post is fixed-term for 2 years.

Qualifications

  • Be a registered mental health nurse (RNMH) with current NMC registration (part 3).
  • Have experience of managing risk, including suicide and self-harm.
  • Be able to deliver solutions-focused interventions.

Job description

Provide a specialist mental health expertise to our staff and officers!

As our Mental Health Practitioner , you’ll deliver occupationally focused mental health assessments, case management, and short-term interventions. You’ll be offering preventative advice, focusing on the relationship between health and work. Supporting wellbeing strategies helping us maintain a healthy and resilient workforce.

You will need to:
