A regional mental health services provider in Taplow seeks a qualified Mental Health Practitioner to join their community team. You will engage in delivering recovery-oriented interventions, maintain a caseload, and work autonomously within a multidisciplinary setting. The post holder will be joining a well-established operational team working within the Adults Community Mental Health Team in WAM (Windsor, Ascot & Maidenhead). Our working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, full-time. The WAM Community Mental Health Team is a multi-disciplinary team comprised of social workers, community mental health nurses, consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, psychological therapists, community support workers, employment specialists, and administrators/reception staff. The CMHT is jointly funded by Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Local Authority.
You will work within the WAM Community Integrated Mental Health Services. You will hold a caseload and focus on delivery of a specific time-limited intervention using the recovery model. The care and treatment will focus on empowering service users to use their strengths, skills and special interests to help in their recovery whilst under the secondary services working with our Multidisciplinary Team. You will be offered regular clinical supervision and support from the Clinical Lead.
