Length of assignment: 3 Months

Remote/Office based: Hybrid — all therapeutic appointments will be face-to-face

Location: Walsall Council

The Role:

We are seeking therapists to join our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.

Your responsibilities will include delivering psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers in Walsall, both individually and in groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with adults with complex needs, focusing on engaging parents regarding their mental health and wellbeing, while coordinating with the wider social care system.
• Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and delivering evidence-based, time-limited interventions within the team.
• Identify suitable mental health/psychological interventions, creating tailored approaches based on parental mental health needs, utilizing models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialisms, including trauma-informed approaches like CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Driving is essential for this role.
