Job Description:

Length of assignment: 3 Months

Hourly rate: £37

Remote/Office based: Hybrid — all therapeutic appointments will be be face-to-face

Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne

The Role:

We are recruiting therapists to work within our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.

You will deliver psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, both on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with adults with complex needs, focusing on engaging parents regarding their mental health and well-being while coordinating with the wider social care system involved with the family.
• Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and evidence-based interventions within the Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.
• Identify and deliver appropriate mental health/psychological interventions tailored to parental needs, informed by models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Experience and qualification in delivering therapeutic interventions across various specialisms, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy, are required.

Driving is essential for this role.
