Location: Walsall Council

The Role:

We are seeking therapists to join our Family Safeguarding Mental Health Team.

You will deliver psychological and systemic interventions with parents and carers in Walsall, both on a 1-2-1 basis and in groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with adults with complex needs, focusing on engaging parents regarding their mental health and well-being, and collaborating with the wider social care system involved with families.
• Provide clinical services including assessment, formulation, and delivering evidence-based, time-limited interventions within the team.
• Identify suitable mental health interventions for individuals and develop tailored approaches for parents based on their mental health needs, utilizing models such as trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications in delivering therapeutic interventions, including trauma-informed CBT, DBT, EMDR, functional family therapy, and systemic family therapy.

Driving is essential for this role.
