Job summary

Coventry, Warwickshire Mind is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Link Worker to join a county-wide team delivering peer support groups across Worcestershire. You will promote empowerment through shared experience and facilitate psychoeducational sessions to help attendees apply self-help strategies for positive change and personal growth.

The role may involve travel across Worcestershire, occasional evening work, and low-level 1:1 support to encourage participation and access to services in

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate clearly with diverse groups.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy when engaging peers.
• Organisational skills to manage group activities and records.
• Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across Worcestershire.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organise, promote and deliver peer support groups across Worcestershire.
• Work with Neighbourhood MH Teams to ensure referrals and clinical support where required.
• Escalate or refer attendees to specialist services when needed.
• Attend weekly MDT meetings with Neighbourhood MH Teams across Worcestershire.
• Support group participants and, where needed, provide low level 1:1 support to improve participation.
