Qualifications

• Must be qualified as an Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
• Preferred experience with mental illness and/or personality disorders.
• Demonstrates effective clinical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake patient assessment and observation to identify patient need.
• Organise and deliver therapeutic activities for service users.
• Support junior occupational therapy staff and students.

Skills

Relevant clinical experience with mental illness and/or personality disorder

Extensive experience applying occupational frames of reference and approaches

Effective clinical reasoning skills

Specialist knowledge of assessment and treatment models

Knowledge of working with neurodiverse individuals
