The salary for this permanent Occupational Therapist job is £38,407 - £34,581 per annum.

Main Duties:

  1. Conduct OT Assessments: Perform occupational therapy assessments to determine patient needs and plan appropriate interventions, either individually or in groups.
  2. Manage OT Treatment Plans: Coordinate and oversee individual OT treatment plans, facilitate therapy groups, and manage unit programmes.
  3. Report Writing and Meetings: Prepare OT reports and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings.
  4. Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care and treatment.
  5. Supervise OT Assistants: Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
  6. Build Professional Relationships: Foster strong working relationships with colleagues, ensuring adherence to Priory policies, statutory regulations, and quality standards.
  7. Maintain Communication: Keep effective communication with patients, their relatives, and carers.
  8. Clinical Hours Commitment: Fulfil 60% of contracted hours in clinical duties.

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  1. Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
  2. HCPC registration.
  3. Previous UK Occupational Therapy experience.
