Qualifications

Job description

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Nurse looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? Service Care Solutions are currently supporting a Substance Misuse Service in Derbyshire. This service is looking to recruit an experienced Mental Health Nurse to support individuals facing mental health and substance misuse challenges. As a key member of their team, you will play an essential role in supporting individuals to regain control over their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct mental health assessments and develop individual care plans tailored to service users' needs.
  2. Clinical Care: Provide high-quality clinical support, offering expert advice and treatment options for individuals experiencing substance misuse and related mental health issues.
  3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
  4. Recovery Focused: Empower individuals to take control of their recovery, providing support and guidance throughout their journey.
  5. Ongoing Support: Monitor and review care plans, ensuring consistent support and adapting treatments as necessary.
What We're Looking For:
  1. Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN): Current NMC registration and a passion for mental health and substance misuse work.
  2. Experience: Previous experience in mental health or substance misuse settings is preferred but not essential.
  3. Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, and effective teamwork abilities.
  4. Commitment: Genuine interest in supporting recovery and making a positive impact on lives.
