Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking a Registered Nurse (RMN/RNMH/RNLD) with mental health experience to lead care teams and deliver high-quality nursing care to residents. The nurse will manage daily mental health and physical care needs, liaising with relevant professionals and ensuring safeguarding, confidentiality, and infection control standards are maintained.

You will supervise and delegate tasks to the care team, uphold clinical governance, and contribute to care planning and documentation.

Qualifications

• NMC Registered with valid PIN.
• Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a nursing role.

Responsibilities

• Assess mental health and physical care needs of residents.
• Alert relevant professionals to care changes.
• Adhere to and review care plans and risk assessments.
• Build trust and therapeutic relationships with residents.
• Administer medications as prescribed, including injections.
• Monitor health, wellbeing, deterioration and progress.
• Document patient records accurately and comprehensively.
• Communicate and coordinate with doctors, social workers and healthcare professionals.
