Job description

Te Taiwhenua o Heretaunga (TToH) is a health and social services provider, supporting our local community in Hawkes Bay. We are a values-based organisation who thread our cultural values of Whakamana, Kaitiakitanga, Whanaungatanga and Kotahitanga through everything we do.

What you’ll do

  • Provide professional and clinical care to whaiora in our newly created 6 bed Crisis Respite Hub
  • Work in close partnership with staff from Te Whatu Ora, MSD and Police in an innovative, multi-disciplinary approach
  • provide specialist care alongside input from social services, with the needs of the whaiora at the centre

These positions are full-time permanent with rostered shifts.

Candidates will have:

  • Registration as a Nurse, or Practitioner under HPCA Act 2003, or other professional under a regulated body
  • Experience in acute mental health setting
  • Knowledge of Te Whare Tapa Wha and/or other cultural models of whānau support
  • Commitment to our values
  • A Full Driver’s License
