Mental Health Nurse, Band 5

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 mental health nurse to work within Dundee CRHTT. Applications are welcomed from experienced RMN’s who wish to develop their skills in crisis assessment, intervention and home treatment.

Dundee CRHTT provides 24h, 7 day per week crisis assessment, home treatment and early supported discharge service for individuals with mental health problems.

The successful applicant will have previous experience of working as a Band 5 RMN with people who have a wide range of mental health problems.

As a lone worker in the community you will develop, deliver and evaluate specialist psychological and psychosocial interventions, working with people to facilitate, enable and support them within their homes and communities.

The ability to be flexible on a daily basis to meet the job requirements is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a shift rota system. You must be willing and able to travel. There may be a requirement to cover, in special circumstances, in other localities.

Candidates expressing interest in this opportunity must possess and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
