A private rehab centre in Surrey is seeking a full-time Mental Health Nurse. You will assist with patient care, implementing individual care plans, and supporting patients in their recovery. Ideal candidates are Registered Mental Health Nurses with experience in mental health care, demonstrating empathy, resilience, and excellent communication skills.

What you'll be doing

As a Mental Health Nurse,you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
What you'll bring to the role

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with an active NMC registration, 6 to 12 months’ post-registration experience, and completion of a preceptorship programme. They will have knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional practices, along with evidence of post-registration continuing professional development. The candidate will demonstrate a positive attitude, a commitment to change, improvement, and quality, and the ability to develop and use flexible, innovative approaches to practice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. They will have a minimum of 6 months’ post-registration experience within a mental health or learning disabilities care environment, with evidence of continued professional development in a relevant field.
