We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to patients experiencing mental health issues, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting recovery and rehabilitation. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health status and needs.
  2. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with patients and the healthcare team.
  3. Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions.
  4. Provide emotional support and counselling to patients and their families.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with legal and organisational standards.
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
  7. Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and coping strategies.
  8. Ensure a safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
