Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and driven Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our client, who is committed to providing exceptional care for men and women with mental illness and personality disorders.

Within a 96-bedded forensic hospital offering medium, low, and other levels of care, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, developing treatment plans, and supporting patients in their recovery journey.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide nursing care to patients with mental health needs.
2. Develop and implement individualized care plans.
3. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
4. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
5. Conduct risk assessments and manage challenging behaviors.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
2. Experience in a forensic or rehabilitation setting preferred.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
