Our core values are:

  • Continuous improvement

  • Support

If you share these values and want to make a real difference as part of our team, we want to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Coordinating the care of service users, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their care, following the care programme approach under the supervision of the line manager.
  2. Developing care plans tailored to the assessed needs of individuals and ensuring unqualified staff deliver care as specified.
  3. Liaising with family members, carers, and significant others during assessments and care plan development.
  4. Creating risk management plans for service users, incorporating input from the team, and ensuring all relevant parties are aware and acting on these plans.
  5. Directing unqualified staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained.

Mersey Care is one of the largest trusts providing physical and mental health services in the North West, serving over 1.4 million people and covering regions including North Wales and the Midlands.

We offer specialist inpatient and community services supporting physical health, mental health, learning disabilities, addiction, and brain injury. We are one of only three UK trusts with high secure mental health facilities.

At the core of our work is our commitment to ‘perfect care’—safe, effective, positively experienced, timely, equitable, and efficient. We support our staff to excel and collaborate with service users, families, and carers to shape future services. We are currently implementing organizational and service transformations to improve quality and reduce costs.

Flexible working requests will be considered for all roles.
