Priory Hospital Arnold is a purpose-built 52-bed acute mental health hospital, comprising two adult acute wards and 2 Psychiatric Intensive Care Units. Our main focus is on patient experience from referral to discharge and follow-up support. We serve both NHS local and out-of-area patients. We are committed to providing staff with an excellent and supportive work environment. Our team is warm, welcoming, and dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for our service users, with care, compassion, and kindness at the core of all we do.

Located off Calverton Road near Ramsdale Park Golf Centre.

Priory Hospital Arnold currently holds a 'Good' rating from the CQC.

Our RMN role involves:

  • Providing high-quality care to individuals with mental illness and personality disorders
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to enhance patient engagement
  • Adhering to all relevant codes of conduct, standards, and legislation, respecting rights and promoting ethical practices
  • Participating in patient assessments, developing care plans, and monitoring progress
  • Leading shifts and mentoring/supporting student nurses and team members (senior role)

To be successful as an RMN, you’ll need:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration
  • Excellent teamwork skills, self-motivation, and flexibility to work shifts including weekends, bank holidays, and nights
  • A commitment to patient-centered, values-based, and evidence-based care
  • A desire for continuous personal development
