Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Mental Health Network Lead Pharmacist to lead the clinical pharmacy service for community services in the Mental Health Network. This is a 12-month secondment, accountable to the Chief Pharmacist, with support from the pharmacy leadership team.

The post requires broad experience in clinical pharmacy, medicines management, and change leadership, with a focus on safe, clinically effective, and cost-efficient medicine use across Trust sites in Greater

Qualifications

• Current General Pharmaceutical Council registration.
• Evidence of CPD and commitment to life-long learning.
• Postgraduate qualification (Diploma/MSc in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent).
• Experience in hospital/pharmacy leadership and medicines management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical pharmacy service for the Mental Health Network - community services.
• Develop and deliver the medicines optimisation strategy across services.
• Provide training and supervision to junior staff and pharmacists.
• Act as a clinical role model for safe, effective and cost-efficient medicine use.
