Job Description: Mental Health Money Advisor (Home-Based, UK)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Mental Health Money Advisor to join our Mental Health & Money Advice Services Team.

About the Service

The Mental Health and Money Advice Service is the first UK-wide initiative to address mental and financial health together. Launched in November 2017 and commissioned by Mental Health UK, it is delivered by various organizations across the UK, including Rethink Mental Illness in England.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Utilize your knowledge and expertise to identify and address issues related to debt, mental health, and financial capability.
  2. Handle casework involving debt management, welfare benefits, mental health, and financial issues.
  3. Develop your understanding of mental health and social care to provide contextually relevant advice.
  4. Assist clients in identifying barriers to managing their finances and provide support to overcome these barriers.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Experience in financial advice, debt management, or mental health support preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a home-based setting.
  • EU work permit required.
