Job Overview
  • Work within the Trust’s Urgent Care services, delivering a 24/7 Mental Health Liaison Service at Walsall Manor Hospital.
  • Support and assess individuals experiencing mental health crises, self-harm, or suicidal ideation.
  • Provide follow-up support for inpatients with complex mental health needs and advise clinical colleagues on mental health issues.
  • Contribute to service improvements and adhere to NICE guidelines and the Core 24 model.
Main Duties
  • Conduct evidence-based mental health and risk assessments for patients at Walsall Manor Hospital.
  • Respond promptly to referrals from the ED, medical units, and wards.
  • Develop comprehensive care plans for patients, coordinating with local mental health services.
