Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is a major NHS board in Scotland employing about 40,000 staff. The role sits within Mental Health legislation administration, with training and development opportunities, based at Leverndale Hospital in Glasgow.

You will support statutory processes, gain expertise in detentions under Mental Health acts, and work closely with senior staff to ensure legal compliance. This is a full-time, permanent position with standard daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Mental Health legislation equivalent to SVQ Level 3.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Induction training and on-the-job support provided by senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the administration of Mental Health legislation and associated processes.
• Develop knowledge in managing detentions under relevant legislation.
• Collaborate with the Mental Health Act Administrator to ensure compliance.
