Job Title: Mental Health, Learning Disability, and Neurodiversity Lead

Location: Remote with Travel

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our Health and Wellbeing team as a Mental Health, Learning Disability, and Neurodiversity Lead.

Key Purpose of the Role

To provide leadership, specialist advice, and support in the areas of Mental Health, Learning Disability, and Neurodiversity. This role focuses on implementing Health and Wellbeing Strategy to improve the quality of care and support provided to individuals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and promoting best practices that enhance person centered support and enhance wellbeing.

In this newly created role, you’ll play a pivotal role in advising and supporting operational colleagues, ensuring evidence-based best practices are embedded across our services. You’ll have the unique opportunity to lead on key initiatives, drive quality improvements, and support individuals with mental health conditions, and neurodiversity.

As this is a national role, you’ll collaborate with teams across the organisation, leading projects that enhance the wellbeing and support we provide.

Essential Criteria

what we are looking for:

Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD)
Experience in community mental health, learning disabilities, or neurodiversity
Passion for person-centred support and service improvement
Ability to mentor, coach, and influence teams
Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, etc.)

Desirable:

  • Teaching qualification.
  • Professional degree or post graduate certificate in a relevant field.
