We’re looking for a creative Mental Health Content Writer to work with our clinical team to turn therapeutic insights into joyful, clinically-informed narrative journeys.

You'll work with therapists and psychologists to craft engaging therapeutic exercises, guided mental health journeys, and insights that resonate deeply with our LGBTQIA+ audience.

  • Ensure content is culturally competent, trauma-informed, and resonates authentically with diverse LGBTQIA+ experiences.
  • Regularly review and incorporate user feedback to continually refine and enhance content clarity, relatability, and effectiveness.
  • Maintain consistency of tone, voice, and messaging across all app content and microcopy, aligning with Voda’s brand identity of joyful, affirming support.
  • Clearly document content decisions and rationale, facilitating smooth collaboration and hand-offs to the broader product and development teams.
Requirements
  • Have 3+ years experience in writing engaging content and scripts, ideally within mental health, wellness, human rights or similar fields.
  • Exceptional ability to translate therapeutic insights and clinical concepts, into clear, accessible, and joyful written scripts.
