Qualifications

• A caring, patient, and compassionate approach in supporting mental health and complex care needs.
• Strong communication and emotional awareness skills are essential.
• Experience in mental health or complex care is desirable.
• Understanding of person-centred and trauma-informed care is needed.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Flexibility to support individuals in and outside of the home.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent emotional support to individuals managing distress and anxiety.
• Encourage and assist with daily living skills and routines.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Follow PBS strategies and risk management plans.
• Support individuals to maintain a clean home environment.
• Encourage community engagement and social activities.
• Support positive connections with family and professionals.
• Accompany individuals to appointments and outings.
• Respect individual choices and dignity at all times.
• Provide updates to the Service Manager on care plans.
