Mental Health Clinical Lead

Homebased with frequent national travel

Permanent, Full Time

£65,000-£70,000 dependant on experience

Are you a clinical leader with expertise in mental health and talking therapies? Do you have a passion for providing clinical services with an exceptional quality of care?

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Lead, accountable for the clinical safety and quality of the therapy we deliver. You will be responsible for updating policies, delivering training, providing clinical supervision and acting as a clinical consultant to therapists with any complex therapy and safeguarding issues.

As an effective communicator, you will collaborate with the bids and sales team, supporting the development and expansion for new propositions from a clinical governance and risk perspective.

Part of Acacium Group, Xyla's mental health support team provides a wide range of mental health services to support the NHS and local authorities across the UK. Our goal is to make sure everyone gets the help they need quickly and easily. We provide people with adult digital mental health support, children and young people digital mental health support, group mental health support and mental health assessments.

Everyday you will...

  • Provide clinical oversight and input into Xyla's clinical policies and standard operating procedures
  • Support the development and expansion of the service, researching new modalities and new market sectors
  • Support the Service Lead and Xyla’s management team in identifying quality improvement initiatives in line with research and industry best-practice
  • Work within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for systematic governance of the clinical service
  • Attend monthly supervision to uphold personal accreditations with an external supervisor
  • Take an active role in ensuring all clinical staff are suitably skilled and trained to deliver the service to the highest clinical quality, driving outcomes
  • Lead as an independent investigator upon the escalation of complaints and serious incidents into Xyla delivery and operations, providing insight into improvement opportunities to drive patient experience and clinical excellence

To thrive in this role, you must...

  • Be an accredited CBT Therapist with the BABCP or a Clinical Psychologist with the HCPC
  • Have an IAPT supervision qualification or modality specific supervision qualification
  • Have experience delivering primary care talking therapies to both adults and children
  • Have experience working at a senior management level in an IAPT/talking therapies service
