CareTech Community Services is looking for Bank Support Workers with experience in dementia care to provide practical and emotional support, helping adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, autism, dementia, or challenging behaviour live as independently as possible.

The Role
  • Support individuals with daily living and leisure activities
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of service users and staff
  • Contribute to support plans, reports, and records
  • Work flexibly across shifts, including weekends, bank holidays, and potential sleep-ins
About You
  • Must have experience supporting people with dementia
  • Experience in learning disabilities, autism, mental health, or challenging behaviour (desirable)
  • Calm under pressure and able to work independently or in a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Passion for supporting vulnerable adults
  • Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards one)
  • An Enhanced DBS check will be required (paid for by CareTech).
