Aspiring Therapist role

Social, Emotional and Mental Health/Complex Needs

Primary Phase

Would you like to build your experience working with Complex Needs and work alongside trained therapists, counsellors and psychologists?

An outstanding specialist school for children with Mental Health needs based in Ascot is looking for a bright and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support children with behaviour and mental health issues. Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered!

This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for any Psychology Graduate to work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school. You will be mentored and have the opportunity to shadow sessions and learn from them. Plus, you will gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring educational or occupational psychologist, therapeutic support worker, or SEN teacher.

The SEMH School is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can bring enthusiasm, passion, and experience to the classroom. They are looking for a SEN TA who will be proactive and adaptable and be able to use their own initiative. Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour is desirable!
