Are you interested in supporting children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health issues? Would you like to build your experience working with complex needs and collaborate with trained therapists, counsellors, and psychologists?

An incredible specialist school for children with Social and Emotional Mental Health Needs in Gloucester is seeking a bright and enthusiastic Mental Health Assistant to support students' academic learning, emotional wellbeing, and behaviour. The school caters to children aged 8 to 18 and employs a therapeutic approach, offering training to appointed staff. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential; graduates in related fields (e.g., Psychology, Counselling, Criminology) are encouraged to apply.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside therapists and psychologists on-site, with mentorship and shadowing opportunities.
