EdEx - Education Recruitment is seeking a Mental Health Assistant for a high achieving primary school in Havering. The role supports SEND, SEMH, safeguarding and works across Reception to KS2, 1:1 and group sessions to address pupil needs.
The successful graduate will collaborate with SEND, Pastoral and Safeguarding teams to help reduce barriers to learning, inspire pupils and contribute to a friendly, supportive school environment. This is a long-term, full-time position with CPD opportunities.

The successful candidate will work alongside the brilliant SEND, Pastoral and Safeguarding teams to address the additional needs required by students to reduce barriers to learning.
The ideal candidate for the Mental Health Assistant role would be graduates with a keen interest in Mental Health, Therapy, Psychological Research, Education, Speech and Language, Special Needs and many more!

Previously, Mental Health Assistants have continued to pursue Educational Psychology, Counselling, Therapy, Clinical Psychology as well as completing internal teacher training within the Secondary School.
