Job summary

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a Social Activities Coordinator at Braeburn House in Salford, Manchester. You will plan and deliver activity-based programmes, build 1-2 rapport with service users, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support treatment plans.

Successful candidates will have basic group work, strong communication, initiative, and awareness of mental health needs. A Full UK Driving Licence is required. Salary £25,936 per year for 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate social and recreational activities for service users within a secure environment.
• Obtain information from service users regarding interests and preferences.
• Observe behaviour and progress, report to the team in verbal and written form.
• Document observations in service users' clinical notes under supervision.
• Ensure health and safety, welfare and security standards are followed.
• Conduct basic risk assessments for individuals and groups of service users.
• Utilise coordination skills and resources effectively.
