Job description

Mental Health Act Co-ordinator required for a busy Mental Health Act department based in Priority House Hospital, Maidstone.

The post holder must have knowledge of working with the Mental Health Act legislation and the Code of Practice, and be fully familiar with the administration and legislation.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Scrutinising section paperwork
  2. Ensuring deadlines are met regarding patient appeals and reviews
  3. Liaising with all professionals and providing advice on the Mental Health Act
  4. Providing training to all professionals on the Mental Health Act
