Job summary
URBN, a global fashion group, is seeking an Assistant Designer to join the Urban Outfitters Menswear Design team in London. You will assist in design development, drive trend-informed ranges, and collaborate with Buying/Merchandising to deliver commercial products across the UK and Europe for stores and online.
The role requires a Menswear design background, a directional portfolio, and strong CAD/Adobe skills.
Qualifications
- Strong menswear design portfolio showing directional thinking.
- Proficient CAD - Illustrator/Photoshop and InDesign skills.
- Experience delivering in-season product in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist design development across menswear ranges.
- Research trends to inspire and drive new product ranges.
- Source fabrics and trims and develop washes in line with trends.
- Support development of commercial ranges for UK/Europe stores and online.
- Collaborate with Buying/Merchandising to source and present ranges.
- Contribute to seasonal concepts, colour and wash boards.
- Create CAD packs with measurements and trim references.
- Conduct trend research and analysis.
