Qualifications

  • Degree or similar qualification in Fashion Design required.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in a fast-paced fashion environment.
  • Self-motivated with good time management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating monthly release CAD range plans and display boards.

Job description

ARNE is an apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east, and ship directly to our customers via ARNEclo.com. We are also available through Selfridges, both in store and online.

We have ambitious objectives for the next decade, including launching new product categories in shoes and womenswear, creating paid media campaigns, CRM activities, and expanding internationally to enhance our brand assets.

Reporting to our Senior Designer, you will bring creative flair, a keen eye for detail, and strong organizational skills. If you want to join our exciting journey, please apply today!

Responsibilities
  1. Support the design team with daily admin tasks.
  2. Handle samples and maintain sample logs.
  3. Manage the critical path to ensure timely sample arrivals.
  4. Photograph incoming and bought samples daily.
  5. Manage incoming and outgoing post.
  6. Follow up with suppliers to chase samples and resolve queries.
  7. Build strong relationships with overseas suppliers via email and WeChat.
  8. Assist in photoshoot preparations.
  9. Help prepare CADs and tech packs for factories.
  10. Assist in creating monthly release CAD range plans and display boards.
  11. Support approval processes for lab dips, trims, materials, and prints.
  12. Collaborate with the garment technician on CADs following fit sessions.
  13. Contribute to seasonal design strategies, trend overviews, and collections.
  14. Research customer profiles, trends, and competitors, focusing on commerciality.
  15. Use WGSN for trend reports and street style research.
  16. Prepare sourcing packs for fabrics, prints, and graphics.
Candidate Profile
  • Self-motivated with good time management and adaptability.
  • Attend weekly design and fit sessions, recording notes.
  • Identify new product opportunities for growth.
Skills & Experience
  • Degree or similar qualification in Fashion Design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Excel.
  • Preferably 1 year of experience in a fast-paced fashion environment.
