COS is seeking an Assistant Buyer for the menswear team in London. You will support product development across designated categories, partnering with Buying, Design, Production, and Supply Chain to secure orders that meet brand and customer needs in terms of time, price, quality and quantity.

In this hands-on role, you will analyse sales and trends, drive the daily team organisation, and maintain close collaboration to deliver an excellent COS assortment.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as an Assistant Buyer within menswear.
• Strong product development knowledge and collaboration with Design and cross-functional teams.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft 365.
• Comprehensive understanding of market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Ability to produce high-quality work, prioritise and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Ability to analyse issues logically, use data to guide decisions and anticipate issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to explain complex points clearly.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and demonstrate curiosity and self-development.

Responsabilidades

• Review and analyse department product, assortment, quantity and selling figures.
• Support to maximise sales and profitability by maintaining timelines before and after orders.
• Monitor customer impact of trends and market surroundings.
• Drive day-to-day organisation within the team.
• Manage post flow to recipients and order updates.
• Conduct regular competitive analyses and provide actionable insights.
• Coordinate product development with buyers and internal teams, meeting margin targets.
• Prepare fittings, arrange samples, and manage the sample wardrobe.
