The Mens Jersey and Essentials Buyer is responsible for developing and sourcing a commercially viable product range that meets customer and market needs while maximizing profitability. The role involves leading the buying team, managing the full product lifecycle from design to price architecture, and ensuring strong financial performance. Key responsibilities include driving the product strategy, overseeing supplier relationships, monitoring market trends, and maintaining competitive advantage. The Buyer also plays a key role in sustainability and ethical trading initiatives, ensuring products align with George’s standards. Additionally, the Buyer will mentor and develop the Assistant Buyer, collaborate across departments, and ensure successful product launches.
This role is a 12 months Maternity Cover opportunity.
