Role: Mendix Managing Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Mendix Managing Consultant.

The Role

As a Mendix Managing Consultant, you will be working alongside senior business and IT stakeholders to understand their needs across different portfolios and translate them into compostable solutions/applications that can be delivered in Mendix. In this role, you will play a key role in leading one or more teams of Mendix Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts and ensure on-time deliverables.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end development services of Mendix applications, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Lead one or more team(s) of Mendix Architects, Developers, and Business Analysts and ensure on-time deliverables.
• Engage with Architects and Lead Developers to identify and propose solutions addressing the needs of the customer.
• Provide leadership and expertise in evaluating third-party integrations, APIs, and external services for incorporation into Mendix applications.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, developers, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop strategies, review, and maximize value from delivering Mendix applications.
• Stay abreast of the latest Mendix features, updates, and industry trends, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to improve development processes and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed in low-code development.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance platform capabilities.
• Be the first point of contact on any Mendix related queries/questions and leverage the team to address those questions.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Mendix Advanced or Expert Certification.
• Experience as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Engagement Manager, and/or Managing Consultant where Mendix applications are being delivered.
• Excellent knowledge of the Mendix platform, including microflows, pages, entities, and deployment models.
• Exposure to integrating Mendix with third-party systems like SAP, Teamcenter, Opcenter leveraging REST, SOAP APIs, or OData etc.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Mendix Studio Pro's advanced features like workflows, native mobile development, and offline capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Mendix deployment strategies.
• Experience of working with customers in Aerospace and/or Manufacturing industry.
