Ensure two teams are competing in the National Leagues year on year, ensuring sustained success at the highest levels.
Establish our 3rd team as a competitive force in the London Premier League.
Build a robust development pathway where young players progress from juniors through the senior ranks to play Premier Division hockey for their home club.
As the 2nd Team Coach, you will also play a key role in supporting our National Prem squad, providing opportunities for club players with National League ambitions, nurturing and developing young talent and helping us realise our vision of homegrown players succeeding at the elite level.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver two high-quality training sessions per week during the season, including pre-season preparation.
Develop and implement game strategies to ensure on-going participation at National League level.
Foster a positive, ambitious, and high-performance culture within the squad.
Collaborate closely with the Director of Hockey and support the club committee in aligning the team with Southgate’s values and long-term objectives.
Support the progression of junior players into senior teams, with a particular focus on the development of elite talent.
Provide individual feedback and mentoring to players to drive continuous improvement.
Key Requirements
Proven experience coaching at National League level or equivalent.
Strong understanding of high-performance hockey principles and strategies.
Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture young talent.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Level 2 or higher hockey coaching qualification (or equivalent).
Availability to commit to two evenings a week during the regular season and pre-season preparation in August and possibly July.
