Job summary

microTECH Global LTD in Manchester is seeking a MEMS Process Engineer to support MEMS fabrication in a state-of-the-art cleanroom, from wafer processing and process development through to device characterisation and manufacturing scale-up.

You will work hands-on on lithography, etch and deposition processes, assist with yield improvements, perform process inspections and device evaluation, and collaborate closely with design and engineering teams on prototypes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related field.
• 2+ years' experience in MEMS, semiconductor or microfabrication environments.
• Experience with lithography, e-beam evaporation, wet chemical processing and SEM characterisation.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating MEMS devices in a cleanroom environment.
• Running and optimising lithography, etch and deposition processes.
• Supporting process development and yield improvement activities.
• Performing process inspections and device characterisation.

This is a hands-on role offering exposure to the full manufacturing cycle, from wafer processing and process development through to device characterisation and manufacturing scale-up.
