MEMS Design Engineer

Job Opportunity: MEMS Design Engineer in Edinburgh

This is an exciting opportunity for a MEMS Design Engineer to join a technology company based in the heart of Edinburgh, working on launching a satellite communications terminal.

Responsibilities include:

1. MEMS Device Innovation: Contribute to the design and analysis of MEMS devices, focusing on innovative solutions for consumer electronics.
2. Process Flow Design: Develop and refine process flows tailored to MEMS gyroscope fabrication.
3. Collaboration with Process Engineers: Work closely with process engineers to optimize MEMS fabrication processes, ensuring designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
4. Material Selection: Choose appropriate materials that align with device specifications and fabrication capabilities.
5. Design Optimization: Assist in optimizing MEMS device designs.
6. Design Review: Conduct critical reviews of MEMS designs.

An industry degree is required for this role. Desirable experience includes:

• Understanding of electromechanical design and layout of MEMS devices.
• Ability to work independently with a proactive approach.
• Knowledge of MEMS reliability testing.
