Job summary

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in Leeds is seeking a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the Older People’s Memory Assessment Service. The role involves specialist neuropsychological assessment, MDT collaboration, supervision, and line management opportunities within OPS, with CPD support and autonomous working within the team.

Qualifications

• Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and HCPC registration.
• Formal training in supervision of other psychological practitioners.
• Experience in teaching, training and/or clinical supervision.
• Knowledge of theory and practice of specialised assessments and therapies for older people.

Responsibilities

• Screen referrals and provide specialist neuropsychological assessment and formulation.
• Contribute to memory MDT meetings to develop psychological thinking.
• Advise colleagues and carers on care of those with cognitive impairment.
• Provide clinical supervision to other psychological practitioners in OPS.
• Line manage some practitioners and contribute to CPD initiatives.
