A charitable organization is seeking a passionate Memory Advisor to provide tailored support to individuals affected by dementia. Overview

Dementia Support Service – Memory Advisor – Fixed term contract 31/03/2026

Are you passionate about helping people living with dementia lead fulfilling lives and maintain their independence? Do you have experience in providing advice, guidance, or emotional support? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Memory Advisor, you will:

• Provide tailored information, advice, and emotional support to individuals affected by memory problems or dementia.
• Assist individuals in accessing suitable services and support, including health, social care, and community resources.
• Deliver one-to-one support sessions, both in person and over the phone.
• Work closely with professionals, families, and carers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Support awareness events and community outreach to improve understanding of dementia.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Experience in a support, advisory, or care-based role (experience in dementia services is desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with a compassionate and non-judgmental approach.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
• Ability to problem solve
• A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
