Job Description:

The Role

We’re looking for an ambitious self-starter who wants to build an amazing career on the biggest women’s lifestyle brand in the UK.

You will need to be brilliant with all kinds of people – members, senior editors, clients, celebrities, PRs and agents, as well as colleagues right across the business. You’ll be planning live events, producing member-only content, sourcing amazing offers and competitions, and supporting our Editor in Chief with the day-to-day smooth running of the brand team. You’ll need great attention to detail and love balancing multiple priorities at once.

You will have a great degree of autonomy to generate good ideas and find ways to make them happen under your own steam. This is an entry-level job with loads of potential to make an impact quickly.

This is a full-time position based in our central London office 4 days a week with some evening work required on an ad hoc basis.

Main Duties
  • Be the go-to “members’ friend” for our community of GH members, building genuine relationships.
  • Collaborate with the customer team and editorial colleagues to develop content showcasing member benefits across social media, Rewards portal, and website.
  • Coordinate the member event programme, working with the customer team to promote upcoming events and engagement opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas for member events and experiences, collaborating with editorial staff to secure speakers.
  • Source high-value competitions, offers, and discounts for print and the Rewards portal.
  • Work with the GHI team to enhance members’ access to testing services.
  • Monitor and respond promptly and warmly to member queries in the help inbox, resolving issues and gathering feedback.
  • Integrate membership promotion throughout editorial content, including print and online.
  • Pitch ideas for GH editorial content and assist with creation of video, social, and other content formats.
  • Support the Editor in Chief with diary management, expenses, travel bookings, and administrative tasks.
  • Represent Hearst UK and uphold its values.
  • Perform additional duties as required based on your skills and the organization's needs.

What We Are Looking For

  • Solid copywriting experience.
  • Experience in content creation or marketing environment.
  • Knowledge of digital content management and email marketing systems is a plus.
  • Experience in live event delivery is beneficial but not essential.
  • Outgoing, confident, friendly personality; love engaging with diverse groups of people; not afraid to make calls and persuade.
  • Energetic, focused, eager to learn, with a drive to make a quick impact.

Your benefits at Hearst UK help you thrive in every part of life, including exclusive testing panels, sample sales, health and wellbeing resources, financial benefits, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
