Job description

Join the Energy Revolution with E-FWD

E-FWD, the premium membership platform from Energy Voice (a DC Thomson brand), is redefining how energy leaders connect, learn, and lead. Since launching in late 2023, we’ve built a powerful network of over 200 senior executives from across UK energy sector and hosted headline-making events featuring figures like Gordon Brown. Now, we’re scaling fast—and we’re looking for a high-performing sales professional to help us lead the charge.

This is your opportunity to shape the future of energy media and events.

What You’ll Do

As a Membership Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our commercial growth. You’ll:

  • Own and grow a high-value sales pipeline—from prospecting to closing, and beyond.
  • Drive new business by targeting C-suite executives across the energy sector.
  • Expand existing accounts, deploying the full suite of E-FWD and Energy Voice products to maximise engagement and revenue generation from each client.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, community and online trading teams to refine our offering and deliver exceptional member experiences.
  • Represent E-FWD at high-profile events, building relationships and uncovering new opportunities.
What We’re Looking For

You’re not just a salesperson—you’re a strategic thinker, a relationship builder, and a connector. You bring:

  • Proven success in B2B sales, ideally in subscriptions, memberships, or professional services.
  • Mastery of the sales cycle, from cold outreach to consultative selling and closing.
  • Energy and resilience, to own your success and growth in the role.
  • CRM fluency and a data-driven mindset to manage and optimize your pipeline. (we use HubSpot)
  • Account management skills, with a focus on renewals, upselling, and long-term value.
  • Confidence and charisma—you’re comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and tailoring your pitch to their needs.
  • A passion for energy, innovation, and transformation—and a desire to be part of something evolving.
Why Join Us?
  • Career-defining opportunity in a fast-growing, high-impact brand.
  • Supportive, ambitious culture backed by one of the UK’s most respected media companies.
  • Hybrid flexibility from Fleet Street London office (1+ day/week in-office).
  • Access to major industry events and a front-row seat to the energy transition.

If you’re ready to accelerate your career and help shape the future of energy, we want to hear from you.
