Working arrangements:

2-3 days a week in London Southbank office, WFH the rest of the time

Role overview

Are you a commercially driven leader with a passion for sustainability and business growth? We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Director to lead our sales strategy, drive sponsorship revenue, and manage high-impact business development within the biogas and environmental sectors.

Key responsibilities
  1. Lead and execute a data-driven sales strategy focused on long-term growth and commercial sustainability
  2. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing high-value deals (5–6 figures)
  3. Build and mentor a high-performing sales team with a target-driven, collaborative culture
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with policy, marketing, and events teams to maximise impact
  5. Represent the organisation at conferences, industry events, and stakeholder meetings
Candidate profile
  • 5–8 years of senior sales leadership experience, ideally in renewables, trade associations, or membership-based sectors
  • Proven track record in driving revenue performance and building strategic partnerships
  • Strong understanding of value-based selling approaches (e.g., MEDDICC, Challenger Sales)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A strategic mindset with a genuine interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and circular economy
